Queuing with Two Servers Working in Shifts

Abstract: This note deals with the analysis of a single-counter queuing model operated by two servers. In any busy period, only one of the servers operates the service mechanism and, at its termination, the other server replaces him. In this manner, the two servers work alternately. Some generalizations of the model are discussed briefly.
