Abstract: A shirt manufacturer is given a total order by a multistore retailer and an allocation of shirts among stores. His problem is to determine how to distribute shirts to each store according to collar and sleeve size. The problem is formulated as an absolute value programming problem and practical methods for making allocations are presented.
