Abstract: Training for operations research may be considered under three general headings: on-the-job training in existing groups, formal academic training in universities; and training of users of operations research, both actual and potential. Operations Research , ISSN 0030-364X, was published as Journal of the Operations Research Society of America from 1952 to 1955 under ISSN 0096-3984.
