Abstract:
One of the characteristic problems undertaken by operations research is a prediction of the extent of new facilities required to meet contemplated changes in a company's business operation. Such a problem---recently presented to Caywood-Schiller, Associates by Wieboldt Stores, Incorporated of Chicago---is the subject of this article.
