Abstract:
This study was instituted to explore the feasibility of solution of an economic model for equipment investment by an analog computer. The relevance of various models to the equipment-replacement model is discussed and the equivalence of these shown. An analog is constructed and computations made for a wide range of system parameters. The sensitivity of the decision to changes in the values of the factors considered is analyzed and conclusions drawn.
