Abstract:
Large strides in engineering and science have been one of the products of the modernization program started in Turkey by Attaturk. Taking advantage of scientific advancement in other countries, and of their own rapidly developing universities, the Turks have produced a rapidly growing number of high quality engineers and scientists.
