Abstract:
The writer has had occasion to make certain of the computations referred to in Geisler and Karr's paper on “The Design of Military Supply Tables for Spare Parts,” published in the August 1956 issue of the Journal (vol. 4, pp. 431--442). A somewhat unusual graphical method of making the trial and error computation discussed as Method I of the paper was devised and found to reduce considerably the amount of labor required for the computation. The graphical method is the subject of this letter.
