Abstract: In an article in the January--February 1959 issue of O perations R esearch , Mark B. Schupack has supplied harmonic analysis to the problem of determining economic lot sizes in the face of seasonal demand. While the paper is a contribution to the theoretical analysis of the problem, it seems of limited use from a practical point of view.
