Abstract: One of the papers from the Symposium Case Histories Five Years After , held at the Fourteenth National Meeting of the Society, in St. Louis, Missouri, October 23, 1958. Late in 1950 several of us undertook to study one of the most troublesome problems of railroad accounting---the settlement of interline accounts. Here a brief description of the problem and our proposed solution will suffice.
