Abstract:
A population of N units is assumed to arrive simultaneously at a service facility at time t = 0. A number, n 0 , of these units is postulated as having failed. The service channels are capable of exponential service, each having a mean rate (mu). The number of channels, k (=1, 2, 3, ...) will affect the rate at which service is to be performed.
