Abstract: In the paper, “A Queuing Model for an Inventory Problem,” that appeared in O perations R esearch , volume 5, pages 693--703 (October 1957), William Karush solved an important inventory-control problem. The purpose of this note is to present a chart depicting a graphical form of Karush's distribution function of the inventory replenishment time.
