Letter to the Editor---A Note on V. Punga's Method of Solving Linear Equations

Abstract: In this letter, a method of solving systems of linear equations is given. The method is a combination of procedures used in the original and revised simplex method ( see Eisemann, K. 1955. Linear programming. Quart. Appl. Math. 13 N3, 209--232.), and requires less arithmetical operations than the method given in Punga, V. 1958. On the use of the simplified simplex tableau for the solution of systems of linear equations. Opns. Res. 6 897--898.
