Coincident Optima for Two-Facility Weber Problems

Abstract: The location problem with two new facilities in continuous space is considered, with distance measured by arbitrary norms. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a proposed solution to be optimal are given for several cases. These cases include situations where the cost function is nondifferentiable because facilities coincide.
