Abstract:
In response to a letter to the editor by Götz Uebe, of the “ Institute für Ange-wandte Mathematik, Technische Hochschule Mü nchen, Munich ,” concerning my paper, “The Multiple Terminal Delivery Problem with Probabilistic Demands,” Trans. Sci. 3 192--204 (1969), there is a need for further elaboration of several points in the paper. For this discussion assume all demands are deterministic. The discussion holds for both deterministic and probabilistic situations.
