Abstract: A mezőgazdasági árak stabilizálása az egyik legfontosabb agrárpolitikai törekvés. A közgazdasági elmélet mikroökonómiai és makroökonómiai szinten vizsgálja az árstabilizálás hatásait. Az elméleti eredmények azt mutatják, hogy nincsenek megnyugtató érvek az árstabilizálás mellett. A fejlődő országok tapasztalatai is azt támasztják alá, hogy a mezőgazdasági árak stabilizálásának gyakorlata idáig korlátozott sikerrel járt.
