Abstract: A Európai Unió közös agrárpolitikája (CAP) szinte már megalakulásakor a viták kereszttüzébe került. Bár a CAP több reformot is megért, a célok és az alapvető eszközök nem változtak. A tanulmány első részében a CAP legfontosabb eszközeinek jövedelemelosztási hatásait elemezi. A bemutatott eredmények egyben rávilágítanak arra, hogy miért nem sikerült a CAP céljait fennállásának negyven esztendeje alatt egyértelműen teljesíteni.
