Abstract: This paper is to analyze if the EU-Africa Joint Action Plan 2011-2013 can be realized and it will be a win-win game. If it would prove to be functional, the Joint Action Plan will be a step forward towards other kind of alliances for security, which will not be necessarily military alliances, made to assure the security for both EU and Africa. After the argumentation of the necessity of this Plan, it is analyzed on what the EU-Africa partnership is based. In the third part it would be seen the area in which the Joint Action Plan will function and finally, if the Plan is feasible, meaning here human, security challenges, the conflicts, the political instability and the list can go forward with which the African States are confronted. The paper will have as a base the qualitative analysis of the documents and the information available on the websites.
