Abstract: The evolution of society especially in the second half of the twentieth century has put classical sociology in front of a reality more and more different and forced it to rethink its foundations, its methods and instruments. Postmodernity is something totally different in the evolution of society and the science of this new reality will also be different. Postmodern sociology appears as a partisan effort, using genealogical methods without pretensions of objectivity. Oriented towards events, towards the games of domination that have created space for the famous "social facts" of modern sociology: not an objective analysis but a partisan criticism of existence, historically situated.
