Abstract: In psychological theory it is recognized the desire of everyone to ascend to better. After the transition to market economy increasingly more Romanians began to seek greater material earnings abroad. But free movement of labor in Europe generated besides the positive effects in the economy, also a series of highly negative consequences in social and educational plan. Increasingly more parents leave to work abroad causing a temporary disintegration of families. Migration of parents working abroad has become a genuine phenomenon.
