Emotional Labour and Burnout in the Enterprise

Abstract: The study proposes from the theoretical perspective, to focus on the dimension of the professional activity from the paradigm perspective of the emotional labor. Analysis of the burnout occurrence and involved emotional intelligence, as result to the characteristics of employees and the jobs from the public services, represented the basis theoretical of the problem investigated. Empirical research had as aim relations between: the emotional labour performed by employees, the emotional intelligence and burnout filed by employees in 2 domains: the teachers, and sellers. In the evolution the research has been analyzed, to what degree the subjects gender, age and profession of the employees, influences the emotional labor filed,but and emotional intelligence and burnout who a performs at work. The research method was the questionnaire, which has aimed: the first questionnaire was measured the burnout, the second questionnaire measuring emotional labor and the last questionnaire measuring emotional intelligence. The results of our study revealed the fact that burnout is increasingly filed by people who work in this two domains proposed, so begins when burnout the installed , their lose balance between incoming requests and their own resources. The analysis and interpretation of data, emotional intelligence is essential in public services to mitigate the effect s burnout pressure. The results confirmed the conclusion that employees adapt their actions in the workplace based on emotions they recognize, are more likely to succeed in their careers, to cope under stress and in extreme situations.
