Herbert Werlin
Challenge, 2012, vol. 55, issue 1, 86-113
Abstract:
Is democracy critical to economic development? This is, of course, a long-standing topic of debate. The author, with much political experience, argues that practical governance is the issue. Here, he offers his take on this highly controversial subject. It is not the last word but merely an important check on how we help to develop the world.
