The Ethics of Offshoring
William A. Douglas
Challenge, 2017, vol. 60, issue 1, 83-97
Abstract:
Is the loyalty to free trade by economists—even those who have some doubt—misplaced and misleading? The author examines with great insight the many possible costs, both social and economic, of free trade that are often neglected or minimized in traditional discourse. More economists are criticizing blind free trade enthusiasts, but this author’s discussion is among the more nuanced critiques.
