The Two-Edged Sword of Capitalist Globalization
Peter Nolan
Challenge, 2018, vol. 61, issue 1, 92-103
Abstract:
This development specialist argues that China can contribute to global cooperation on economic regulation. He writes, authoritarian tendencies aside, that it has had a long history of managing both the invisible hand and government regulation. And the world has no recourse but to move farther along on the road to global regulation, not only of climate issues but also of other pressing concerns affecting growth. The West in turn can influence China.
