Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the degree of internationalization and performance of manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region. Our conclusions on the U-shaped relationship are based on the panel data analysis of 170 listed companies. By creatively using enterprise resources and regional differentiation as situational factors to analyze the relationships between these two factors, we found that resources play a regulatory role in the relationship with international performance, and there is regional disparity in international performance. Finally, we propose relevant policy suggestions from the perspective of corporate sustainable development.
