Abstract: Educational and labour migration is rather common among young people in Kazakhstan. However, there are some critical issues that warrant regularisation of youth migration for education. The systematic expansion of educational contacts of the Republic of Kazakhstan with other countries and the advantages of foreign education are explored in this research. The findings of the study could be useful in developing and revising government strategies, particularly relevant to the Youth Development Strategy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the period until 2025-2030.
