Respect, fair treatment and Community power: working with the Muslims of Granada

Enrique E. Raya Lozano ()

Migration Letters, 2005, vol. 2, issue 3, 239-264

Abstract: Towards the end of the year 2001 we started to work out a research-action project with the objective of developing our knowledge about the situation of the Muslim communities which have settled in Granada, to know more about their more or less problematic contacts with the institutions of the local government and the associative fabric of the greater part of society. This initiative was taken in response to an invitation sent to us by our Belgian colleagues who were eager to set up a mainly European transnational network
