Abstract:
Sovereignty is linked to the competitiveness of the economy and individual enterprises. It is difficult to give an unambiguous assessment of the sovereignty of member states. The author is inclined to think that the EU is gradually transformed into a single structure, where one country's opinion ceases to play a decisive role. Accordingly, the sovereignty of states - members of the EU, especially in eastern Europe, weaker in all respects, than their western and northern neighbors, steadily decreases.
