Abstract: The article is devoted to research on revealing the peculiarities of the price policy of grocery retail in the Perm Krai. The authors conducted a retail audit, during which key producers of ready meals were identified in Perm. Comparative segmentation of companies was carried out according to the price level, on the basis of which the producers of ready-made meals were identified, related to the price categories Low-priced, Middle-priced, High-priced and Premium. In the course of the analysis, the extreme borders and the main price range in which companies conduct their business were identified and clearly reflected. The analysis of comparison of a range of the prices and breadth of assortment of manufacturers of ready meal is carried out. It is revealed that the breadth of the range does not always correspond to a wide range of prices.
