Abstract: This article reveals the problems that stand out from the general range of issues of digital transformation, and includes recommendations to executives on the implementation of corporate digital strategies. The ideas in this work are based on research that has considered the importance of a more inclusive infrastructure to expand access to digital technologies and the emergence of new technologies in this scientific field. The authors illustrate these ideas with evidence from the annual global market research series on corporate practices of digitalization.
