The Environmental Factors Affecting Transfer of Training: Tehran Municipality Employees

Abstract:
The present study explored the effect of environmental factors on transfer of training from training courses to the workplace. The study is a quantitative method. The population contained all of the employees participated in the training courses of the population consisted of all Employees who participated in in-service training courses in Tehran Municipality in 2015 (N= 385). The sample included 193 persons selected by simple random sampling technique. The tools used for data collection were questionnaire. The data gathered was analyzed using t-test and exploratory factor analysis. The results showed that the most important factor influencing transfer of training was Opportunity to use capabilities.
