Abstract: Luigi Einaudi's activity as a journalist, from the 1890s to 1914 is the subject of the present essay. His articles on the "Corriere della Sera" and the "Economist" show his opinions and sharp judgement about Italian policy on emigration and social conflicts as well as about economic and financial problems.
