Augusto Graziani's Critical Approach from Walras to Marx
Giorgio Lunghini
Rivista di storia economica, 2015, issue 2, 295-302
Abstract:
Augusto Graziani was a man and scholar of rare subtlety and profound doctrine. As an economist with a critical approach "par eccellence" - whereby criticism is the premise and foundation of high theory - he used to say about himself: «I disagree with what the Americans call the 'mainstream', the common way of thinking of the majority. The new generation of economists, unfortunately, is made of conformists, all devoted to the American World».
