Abstract:
Abstract Podmore et al.1 reported a decrease in 8-oxo-7,8-dihydroguanine and an increase in 8-oxo-7,8-dihydroadenine in lympho-cyte DNA after intake of 500 milligrams of vitamin C daily for 6 weeks. In our view, four issues compromise the validity of their findings.
