Abstract:
Copper-oxide superconductors were discovered over a decade ago, but the high value of their superconducting transition temperature,Tc, has remained a mystery. A new tool for measuring the long-range phase coherence — essential for superconductivity — of high-Tcmaterials may provide a route to the answer.
