Abstract: Nature 391, 177–181 (1998) In this Letter, we reported that invariant Vα24JαQ T cells from monozygotic diabetic twins/triplets were reduced in number and produced only interferon-γ on appropriate stimulation, whereas those cloned from at-risk non-diabetic twins/triplets and controls produced both interferon-γ and interleukin(IL)-4.
