Abstract: Answers to our questions about the fate of the Universe are now coming from astronomical observations that indicate the Universe may be influenced by a positive cosmological constant, resulting in an acceleration of the expansion since the Big Bang. Combining several of these observations further supports the idea that we are living in an accelerating Universe.
