Abstract:
Taking flight In the past decade the evolution of birds from dinosaurs has been established beyond all reasonable doubt. In Glorified Dinosaurs, Luis Chiappe explains the changes involved in the journey from terrestrial predatory dinosaurs to modern airborne birds. Chiappe deals with the heated controversy that greeted the theory, and provides plenty of illustrations though, says our reviewer, it is a 'coffee-table' book rather than a work of reference.
