Abstract:
The sixth sense We talk of a sense of balance and it has a scientific name that is as good as any of the other senses — equilibrioception. Yet compared with the senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste, balance is little studied and little understood. In his book Balance: In Search of the Lost Sense, Scott McCredie seeks to raise the profile of his favourite sense.
