Abstract: Photoredox and organic catalysis are combined to achieve broadly effective direct arylation of allylic carbon–hydrogen bonds under mild conditions; this carbon–carbon bond forming reaction readily accommodates a wide range of alkene and electron-deficient arene coupling partners.
