Kumaraswamy Velupillai: Kumaraswamy (Vela) Velupillai is retired and lives in Stockholm, Sweden. He was, formerly, a professor of economics at Trento, Italy, and at NSSR, New York, and is an emeritus professor at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He first met Kenneth Arrow at the University of California, Irvine, conference in 2001.
