Star-like cells spark behavioural hyperactivity in mice

Abstract: A molecular dialogue between neurons and star-shaped cells called astrocytes in the striatum of the mouse brain leads to behavioural hyperactivity and inattentiveness that are reminiscent of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
