Loss of p53 protein strikes a nerve to aid tumour growth

Abstract: Tumours often grow entangled among neurons, which makes the cancer difficult to treat. The finding that cancer cells hijack neighbouring neurons to promote tumour growth suggests new therapeutic targets.
