Cancer stem cells in the gut have a bad influence on neighbouring cells

Abstract: Malignant stem cells in the gut secrete factors that promote the differentiation of neighbouring stem cells, thereby aiding the replacement of normal stem cells by those with cancer-promoting mutations.
