Cardiovascular diseases disrupt the bone-marrow niche

Abstract: The production of blood cells, including some immune cells, relies heavily on the bone-marrow microenvironment. Cardiovascular diseases are now found to corrupt this niche, leading to imbalances in blood-cell production.
