Human embryo editing against disease is unsafe and unproven — despite rosy predictions

Abstract: Mathematical modelling suggests that it is theoretically possible to reduce risk of common diseases using heritable genome editing. Scientists argue that the technology involves considerable risk and uncertain benefits.
