Amazonian deforestation makes the wet season wetter, and the dry season drier

Abstract:
Clearing of Amazonian forest boosts rainfall during the wet season, but reduces it in the dry season, when the ecosystem needs water most — highlighting the need to prevent further clearance of a climate-regulating environment.
