Abstract: In April 2014 the updated Code of Corporate Governance was published (Bulletin of the Bank of Russia, 2014. No. 40 (1518). April 18). The need for updating the provisions of this document was long overdue, and the emergence revised version is certainly an important step towards the development of corporate governance in the Russian companies.
