Abstract: Business Ethics (in German) has got a small but growing offshoot: »Economic Philosophy« (Wirtschaftsphilosophie). In this article, I discuss the emergence and differentiation from existing fields in the overlapping field of economics and philosophy. In view of the large number of publications in recent years, a first, software-based, quantitative measurement of economic philosophy publications is being carried out in order to identify the main authors and disciplines.
