Abstract: Referring to Theodor W. Adornos lecture on »The Actuality of Philosophy« the article puts forward the thesis that riddle thinking should play a part within the range of methods of philosophy of economics, since it is the right form of reflection to think about the economical within the tradition of Critical Theory.
