Abstract:
Digitalization is presumed to be one of the major challenges of the future for the economy and society in general. However, digitalization is not an isolated phenomenon but rather accelerates already occurring changes of the working environment. Numerous prognoses concerning the digital change processes of the working environment are being described and ethical principles as well as criteria are being discussed. These are correlated and defined with philosophical explanatory models. Subsequently, different social and economic concepts to handle digitalization and the changes of the working and professional environment are reflected upon out of an ethical perspective. It is the pronounced goal to establish orientation guidelines for a humane, just and participative concept for the forced changes of the working environment inflicted by digitalization.
